The Samsung UND8000 Review: Much Awaited For Upgrades

By Pholaro Khuloab

The initial Samsung UND8000 review is very positive, there are many great features and upgrades made that consumers had been waiting for. The complicated nature of the TV was one of the few negative points that were made.

The product had high expectation when it was released, but fanfare quickly died down. With the market trending towards 3D resolution and that being the weak point of the 8000 series, it became obvious that if they wanted to keep up with their competitors, things had to change.

This product does a good job of resolving the ghost imaging that was a problem with previous models, it also offers better overall 3D rendering. The picture was only one of many issues that needed to be resolved before a Samsung could be back on top of the industry.

The backlight feature that the manufacturer originally brought to the industry a year ago continues to be a point of advancement. There has been a wider array of lighting options made available, more dimming features, and placement has also changed. In earlier models the light was projected from all four sides of the television, on the new model only the sides are lit.

The most technological advancement was not made within the television itself, it was made with the remote control. The new touch screen remote is far beyond what many competitors offer. The remote can copy what is localized on the TV, it can also run a variety of apps, and comes with a QWERTY virtual keyboard to make typing easier.

There are many features that make it easy for the Samsung UND8000 review to a positive one, it is not just a good looking TV with a lit background. The UND8000 offers a refresh rate of 240 Hz, Bluetooth 3D glasses compatible, and is wireless internet capable.
